Vegan Leather Gold Lace Makeup Bag

Inspired by the intricate pattern of the Gold Lace Nudibranch.  It's all about the small things in this section! Although, this makeup tote is generously sized! Vegan Leather is less susceptible to damage from humidity than regular leather. Although, care and cleaning are still required in humid environments to ensure longevity.

 Captain Roberts was first shown a nudibranch in Ireland in 2009 by an experienced dive buddy.  She had thought they were just little soft corals before that day when she realized it was an animal that was actually moving across the sponges.  After that she became very tuned in on the small things underwater and her nudibranch obsession grew.  Macro Photography is the way she captures reference images for these designs.  Using a photograph of the endemic Hawaiian Gold Lace Nudibranch Roberts has created this beautiful geometric design.  

Only true Nudi lovers will recognize the pattern while other just admire the beauty of the design.  Don't be alarmed if you are rockin' your Nudi bag and a stranger screams, "OMGeee that's a Gold Lace Nudibranch!!" because those are your people.
